Meet Debi

Deborah (Debi) Anderson has served on the Antigonish Town and County Community Health Board (CHB) for 2.5 years.

She is a mother of three active girls which have kept her busy with a number of recreation and athletic activities over the years.  Debi enjoys nature which led her and her children to backpack around Europe.  When she is not reading a good book she is helping families at Kids First where she has been working for the last 22 years.

Debi joined the CHB because helping her community fits well with her values and helps her to connect with local resources at her work place.  The best part about being a CHB member is the mix of like-minded people who want to improve the health of their community.

Her passion to help others extends to serving as a member of the Antigonish Poverty Reduction Coalition, the Antigonish Food Security Association, the Antigonish Early Years Committee, and the Antigonish and Area Interagency Committee on Family Violence.
