From Me to You

When the Annapolis Community Health Board asked what makes our communities healthy, we heard that people are looking for opportunities for connection and inclusion in supportive community environments. We’ve identified community connection as a top priority in our Community Health Plan.

The Annapolis Community Health Board is pleased to partner with Engage Nova Scotia, inviting you to write or draw a note to someone in your community - a person you know or haven't met yet.

The pandemic has prevented us from being together as much as we'd like - yet we know how good social connections are for our wellbeing.

Just as we can’t know what the year ahead will look like, we never know what anyone is facing in their lives at the moment our paths cross. And we can never know the impacts that small gestures of thoughtfulness can have on any given day

Write or draw a note card and leave it somewhere to be found, like a doorstep, coffee shop, or bus. Ask us where to find note cards locally, print your own,  or use what you have on hand. Make it a group effort by doing this alongside your co-workers or teammates.

For more information, or to ask where to pick up a card locally, email Louise.Hanavan@nshealth.ca, or phone 902-526-0369.
