One of the most important roles of CHBs is to seek and collect information on local health needs and recommend ways to respond to those needs.  This information forms their Community Health Plans which help their district to better understand the health needs and challenges in a community.  These plans also support the districts’ overall business planning, program planning and Strategic Directions.
